I have been particularly impressed with how the common core standards for ELA and mathematics are infused into the SBCS curriculum and taught through science, music, art, drama and social studies–a feat achievable due only to the student/adult ratio in the classroom on any given day. Both of my children love school, and what they love about it most is the opportunities that they are allowed to learn in modalities and at rates that reflect their learning styles, abilities and interests.
