Santa Barbara Charter School is a staff-parent cooperative whose mission is to cultivate learning in the areas of arts, academics, and relationships.We recognize that children learn everywhere and all the time, and believe that learning takes place when students have an opportunity to construct meaning from their own experiences.

Your contributions go a long way towards closing the gap between institutional funds available and the demands of our crucial goals to deliver on our promise of a better education.
In two short years, the Bright Futures Fund has paid for:
- New basketball court
- Art supplies
- Teacher tutors (GATE and RTI)
- New grass for our field
- MacBooks and HD TV’s for ALL classes
- Orchard and garden upkeep
- Field trip scholarships
- Re-paint the art room
